Unlike large tutoring centres across Sydney where students get lost in the crowd, our classes are capped at 8 students, ensuring your Year 11 or Year 12 tutor can give you the individual attention you need. Material

Our HSC study materials are crafted from the ground up by tutors who have recently sat the NSW HSC and know exactly what the markers are looking for. Every HSC subject from Mathematics to English and Economics to the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), has a structured resource bank that builds from foundational theory through to the hardest extension questions. Homework is tiered by difficulty, and every lesson begins with a short practice test to reinforce prior learning and sharpen exam techniques.

Tutors

Every tutor at Synapse Education is hand-selected not just for their academic results, with many holding ATARs above 99 and state rankings across HSC subjects, but for their ability to communicate, inspire and connect with Year 11 and Year 12 students. Our HSC tutors undergo a rigorous training programme focused on teaching skills and student engagement, because knowing the content and being able to teach it are two very different skills. We believe the right tutor-student relationship is the single biggest lever for ATAR improvement.

Study Hub

Located in Eastwood, Sydney, our dedicated Study Hub is a focused, distraction-free space where HSC students can focus outside of class hours. Open from 3PM on weekdays and 10AM on weekends, it offers fast Wi-Fi, a supervised environment, ambient music and a separate quiet exam room for timed practice. Our tutors are on hand throughout opening hours to help with any Year 11 or Year 12 questions across all subjects, no appointment needed.

Support

HSC is one of the most demanding periods in a student’s life, and at Synapse Education we support students well beyond the classroom. Our tutors and staff are available 24/7 for questions via our online channels, and we actively track each student’s progress across their school assessments and trial exams.
